Liza Mügge is Assistant professor in political science and associate director of the Amsterdam Research Centre for Gender & Sexuality (ARC-GS) at the University of Amsterdam. She was visiting scholar at the Harvard Minda de Gunzberg Center for European Studies (2012) and will be fellow with the Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) at Harvard Kennedy School during the 2014-2015 academic year. In 2013 Liza received a Veni grant of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) funding her research on political representation and intersectionality for three years. Liza has published extensively on migrant transnational politics, gender equality, political representation and intersectionality.
